Atmospheric Drawings

.

If your like me, when you see some of Ike Bushman's paintings you give a little sneer and think - "so what". Stay one or two seconds longer, and you're "in"; totally sucked into this place he's created. Some of his paintings are so atmospheric that you really start to wonder where you are; where is this place ? One critic at Fine Art World News described him as ". . . a cross between Antoni Tapies and Cy Twombly with the gestural scribbles in grey tones, white and black contrasts . . ." Either way, it's amazing what he creates with some lines and blushes.
