Pointillism by any other name . . . is still pointillism, but Dena Tollefson has decided to call hers daubism; I guess because she applies bigger portions of paint. You can read all about that in the Artist Statement and the last paragraph of Biography on her Website. What I can say for sure is that her take on this genre is authentic and very appealing.
