Creative Scribbling

.
.
.
There's a lot more to Tom Mueske's colorful scribbles than first meets the eye.
Visit his Website where he gives you plenty of detail shots of his work that lets you see he's really interested in what he's doing.

This is his Artist Statement from the Drawing Center's Website -
.
"My recent drawings are acts of commitment and rejection. I avoid conceptual practice and representation in search of pure unalienable labor. I am more interested in process than purpose. I begin each drawing using many colored markers to quickly create a composition of lines. I then outline the marker with black ink, which transcends the banal and pedestrian qualities of the original gesture."
